Adult Hockey League (4 on 4)

Registration 

Team registrations will open October 1st at 8:30am. You may register in person or by phone with a 25% non-refundable deposit of $225. Registrations will not be placed without a deposit at the time of registration. Returning teams from the 2025 season may begin registering on September 30th, 2025 until 5pm. All unclaimed spots will be open to the public at 8:30am on October 1st. 

• Total team fee: $900
• Full team fees are due by November 1.
• Total spots available: 16 teams (4 more than 2025)

Adult Sports Refund Policy:

• To be eligible for a refund, cancellations must be requested a minimum of seven (7) days before the published registration deadline.
  • All 25% deposits for adult team sports are non-refundable.
• Cancellations within seven (7) days of the registration deadline will not be refunded.
• Refunds will be distributed back to the participant through a check in the mail. This process takes 4 – 6 weeks.
  • A $15.00 service charge for processing all cancellations will apply unless the Valpo Parks and Recreation Department cancels a program due to low enrollment.

Ordering Jerseys

Teams must wear uniforms that are similar in color. Please inform Customer Service of your team’s color(s) when registering.

• If you are interested in getting custom jerseys and do not know where to start, Keith Perez can get you in touch with the company he has order jerseys from in past years. Please email keithperez01@gmail.com for any inquires.
• Or you can use matching jerseys that you may already have from a previous season or another league you play in

New for 2026: All sponsorships must be found independently and will not be provided. Please see the sponsorship tab for more information on how to obtain a sponsor!

Sponsorships 

Sponsorships will not be assigned this year. As with our other adult sports, you may secure your own sponsor or split league fees among your teammates.

• A Letter of Intent to Sponsor must be submitted within 7 days of your registration to waive the deposit if you will be paying using a sponsor. All forms can be email to Cassey Knight (Sports Coordinator) at cknight@valpo.us . Any team who does not submit the form within 7 days will be removed from the roster if payment is not provided.

Safety is at the heart of our Adult Hockey League. While hockey is a contact sport, our rules are designed to keep the game fun, fair, and safe for everyone on the ice. From strict “no checking or fighting” policies to limits on slapshots, player goal caps, and clear penalty guidelines, every regulation is in place to protect players while maintaining a competitive edge. Our goal is simple: create an exciting league atmosphere where players can compete hard, respect one another, and enjoy the game they love.
